Firefighters don't just fight structure fires. As a firefighter in the S.S.F.C you can become certified in vehicle rescue, rope rescue, hazmat operations, wildland firefighting, search and rescue along with many other specialized certifications.        

Fire Police are responsible for keeping the scene safe by controlling traffic to securing a scene from unauthorized personnel.
